How did you fare up there? The weather channel had been talking about it for 2-3 days but no mention of it this morning? I did see the radar last night and it didn't look too bad.

We had a couple bouts of torrential rain and high wind but nothing more. I haven't heard of any issues other than some reported trees down yesterday evening but that was farther north. Turned out to be a bust in my area (which is what I figured would happen) but you never know what could happen (we had three 100-year storms between 2011 and 2017). It was very unusual to have that high of a tornado prediction for this far north and it even brought a bunch of storm chasers to the area due to the rarity.

Gotta love the way things happen in this crazy world. All the hype and concern about the storms on Tuesday amounted to nothing. Yesterday was a no-weather-alert day (other than about the wildfire smoke) however during the afternoon/evening, we had winds higher than on the 'storm' day and ended up losing power for a few hours due to a limb on a line that blew the fuse up the road. Thankfully it was a nice evening for the dog and I to enjoy some peace and quiet out on the deck.

Thoughts and prayers to tornado victims in Wisconsin. Terrible damage.

Also, good luck to those in Central Connecticut. I'm seeing forecasts of >4inches of rain on it's way.

We left Sunday to drive to Tampa, ran into some very heavy rain in FLA.
Saw this post later, this is our local OPE dealer's other store in a town about 40 miles from home...https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1DnU98kB7s/

    Hope they had insurance
