Picked up another whipsaw couple days ago

    Found this saw at a garage sale for $20. Saws with the handle hardware are getting very hard to find. The wood parts looked possibly replaced and one of the finger guards is broken but the rest of the hardware is good. I may replace the finger guard from one of my other saws with one handle. I can restore the finger guard at a later date. Rare find these days! :)

    Nice find. They were pretty common down here years ago. I think we still have a couple.

    That's a nice one! It is amazing the different shapes and designs that are out there, not to mention tooth design.

    They do make decent decorations for the woodshed. Don't even remember where I got these, but I've had them up on the woodshed for years.
