A firewood gathering afternoon!

I grew up hauling out wood with my dad's MF TO30, which is very similar to yours. They are very capable machines. Small and light enough for the woods with enough grunt to move some big stuff. Very reliable, and easy to fix when they aren't.

 

Yep, it's perfect for what we use it for. My son bought it from our neighbor a few years ago. He has a few different implements he uses. I just use it for grabbing logs.

I made a log hauler a while back for grabbing logs with our four-wheeler. We use it with the tractor when it's muddy. I gotta put new tires on it.

Started bucking up the logs we skidded up the other day. My son split and stacked a bunch of it as well. Most of it was in the shade, which was a plus!

 

My son and I finished cutting, splitting and stacking most of the firewood from the other day. We either have to let the bigger logs dry out some more or borrow our neighbors wood splitter.

I was gonna go in the woods and skid some more logs up, but it's tiring watching a 24-year-old split and stack wood....plus it's beer thirty!

Yes, I would like to see that. Been thinking about getting a mill myself. So anything “milling” is of interest

Skidded up two firewood logs this afternoon, gonna buck'em up tomorrow. That MS400C rocks!





I was gonna order one of these chain grabber things. I was at the Tractor Supply the other day and grabbed a 1/4"x4' rod and made one real quick. Works good.
