Along with cooler temps yesterday we got 1.4" rain and that was welcome, even if it came a bit too fast.

Forgot to write. We used to have a group that met at an old farmhouse and they camped weekends. Then the fireworks started by mid-June and ended maybe mid July. Although they were about 3/4 mile from us, it got pretty noisy, especially on July 4.

That group is gone now because the land was sold. But last night was the noisiest July 4 ever around these parts. Last night it started long before dark and kept up steady until midnight. This time the noise was from a different direction and with windows open...

    Good morning, members.

Overnight showers brought in different air. 69⁰/83⁰ much less muggy. Windows open for a while.

Not sure what's going on today. Glad to not be needing to travel. Traffic will be where I do not want to be in.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

A deserving tribute to 250 years of independence. I hope and pray for the nation to continue being strong and free for my children and grandchildren and not continue it's path to destruction from within. :handshake:

Very noisy here also. Tonight's round will be the last of organized displays. Different areas had them on the 2nd, the 3rd, 4th and 5th.

There will still be personal fireworks but with it being Sunday, I'm thinking they will be few and far between.

Good Morning…. :coffee: …. Foggy here… Yesterday was a unique day weather wise…. A low chance of rain at like 8:30 to 10 am … but around 12 Mother Nature had a show for us…. Pretty impressive wind and rain wise…. I’d said 60 mph winds if not more…. Silver Maple trees took a big hit … the FIL still don’t have power… but it stayed cooler than expected….

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a SPECTACULAR SONDAY. 81⁰/94⁰ sunny. Chance of thunderstorms this afternoon. Another hot, sticky day in Dixie. Last day of 6AM-6PM shift. Cooking dirt today, I'll watch our n church service on FB Live. Just rest this evening, maybe ride some roads on the SxS, enjoying GOD'S CREATION.

May we strive every day to live for JESUS. I fail quite often, get angry, judgmental, mouth in motion while brain is in neutral...
I thank GOD HIS MERCY is new each day. May we each remember to forgive as HE has forgiven us.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME.

I hope no damage to any structures. Maybe some decent farwood to be had.

Morning all. Overcast with the possibility of sunshine. Yesterday ended with clear skies and a gorgeous sunset.

Busy day today as I have bookkeeping for a church meeting tomorrow night. Household chores to catch up on. Grass needs mowing but I think it will be too wet today for it. If it stays dry today, then tomorrow we can do it.

Reorganizing the new trailer will be in the works as we only took the basics with us to bring it home. In two weeks we are going to our church camp meeting for a week. It should be a blessing.

    Everyone have a great day.

    Good morning, members.

Warm and wet. 65⁰/68⁰ lower humidity. Showers this morning, becoming heavier this afternoon. Continuing into tomorrow.

Much needed rain is good to see. Over an inch is forecasted.

Inside activity day. A nap is activity, right?
