Its happened to me as well. Finally decide to grab a score, get a load or two thinking you can get more at your convenience and walla, next thing you know its gone. Had a nice BL score like that a couple months back. The rest disappeared the following week. At least you got some.
I don’t feel bad. We got a BUNCH of it hauled out before the rest walked off. I found a cord of ash laying on the side of the road in town yesterday, so I hauled that home. Some big pieces, but they’ll make some nice firewood.
