I went to the doctor in March and June. 8 lbs heavier in March. More TV for me in Winter in addition to what others have mentioned.
I figure i have gaines backed about 8# since the Pittsburgh Marathon at the beginning of May. Life seems busier now. Not walking or riding the bicycle everyday. But i miss it. This sidework shows up and i have trouble saying no. Also have trouble saying no to Pepsi and junk food from time to time.
After Walt's GTG and spending some time with them ,talking about their weight loss journey, it inspired us to try. Miz Carol has lost 30+ lbs and I've lost about 25lbs. Just cut out a lot of the junk/fast food and eating smaller portions with way less carbs.
Thank you, brother . At my heaviest a few years ago, I was almost 245 and a 42" waist was tight. I'm down to a loose 38" most of the time.
Portion control is huge. We had our picnic yesterday and had enough food for 3 times the people that showed up. I heard a few say they just ate to the point of not being able to move.
So far I have lost 35 pounds. I feel so much better. My back pain and arthritis has been so much better. I’m hoping to lose 40 more pounds. Portion control and no junk food has been key for me.
I'm on a bit of a diet recently. I'm trying to loose about 15 lbs before 10/1 and get back on the good side of 200lbs. Not doing anything crazy, just watching what I eat a little closer...cut out all sugar and alcohol. So far I'm losing about 2lbs a week. I do miss a coldbeer every so often though.
I'm doing similar but not eliminating alcohol. Beer tastes so good in Summer. I'm losing about a pound every 2 weeks , which I'm happy with. Currently about 220.
