54 and blue skies. Much more pleasant than the 35 degrees we woke up to yesterday while we were camping. Really enjoying the spring weather. I’m in no rush for the heat and humidity to move in.

I forgot to mention, I saw a little tornado coming home the other day. I was behind a ranch truck & trailer turning into a ranch on my road home going slow and I appreciated it, just let off the gas to keep looking and see if it was I thought it was. From my windshield in the distance it was 3" tall and skinny. Sure enough I got home and there were tornado warnings for it earlier. Creepy. Can't say if it was the beginning (likely) of it or the end of it. I was driving west and weather always moves east here, thus the beginning of it. Just some wind and rain here.

73 in/95 out (heat index 103) burning electricity. Pool would feel nice but not allowed quite yet after my knee scope. Had a leaky valve stem on my truck (second one in weeks) managed to take that off and ran to the tire shop, sweat like a pig.

and I'm on the coast. Hoping everyone inland is coping.
Bird bath is loaded with honey bees. Glad I cleaned it out and refilled it yesterday.
Might put out an extra pie pan .
    Even the birds are quiet.

Definitely chewing through kilowatts here. 3 window A/C units taking the load off an older central air unit.

For sure many of us have been having Oklahoma weather. The highest temp (not real feel) I have seen in MI is 100. We have been very close to that and with the super high dew points it has been awful. I've been in hotter temps but that was in Arizona and it was never as uncomfortable as what we've been having.

The highest temp ever in MI was 112. I hope we never see that.

I didn’t pay much attention to what the high got to today, but it was brutal. It’s still 80 degrees out now at 10pm. I just got out of the pool which was 91 degrees! I’ve never seen it that warm before. Oh well, relief is approaching quickly.

That is one reason I don't live in the south.

Stay cool. Drink plenty but be careful what you drink in this heat.

Mike, we've finally gave up with your type of summer. It has been terrible, but today starts the normal again. I hope we never see 90 again here. You can have our share of that kind of heat.

Good luck. Stay as cool as you can.

Wow! Dew point of 80! It’s still 70 here and feels miserable, I can’t imagine another 10. 91f at 10:30a. Good reason to stay inside and listen to records!

For some reason the title of this thread should be "Hotter here, what's your temp? How ya staying cool? during the Summer! :dennis:

The highest dewpoint I recall seeing in my area was either 78 or 79. As a teen I remember the local weatherman talking about it and I always refer to it for the comfort (or uncomfort) factor. Ill take cold over hot anyday.
