Good day yesterday!

Had a great time with an old friend yesterday! He needed some fish for a Mothers Day fish fry

 

Looks like a couple of oddballs mixed in there. Probably more than 2 but that’s what I saw or thunk I saw.

That’s a nice mess of fishes.

 

Crappie is some of my favorite eating fish…nice work!

Which lake?

 

Private 160 acre lake in my subdivision. That’s why it’s a tad over state length and creek limits

 

I was hoping you would say Truman or Pomme so I could get my act together and go!

 

Game Warden would have had a field day with me if I got caught on a public lake with that mess of fish! Lot of them just under 9 inches and just two of us fishing, so a few more than we should have

 

Beautiful haul. Best to get em' before the water gets warm too!

 

I agree! Fish out of cold water are the best. When it’s hot summertime I put them straight into cooler on ice.

 

Crappie are my favorite fish to persue. I suppose because of the memories of fishing with dad.

 

Man, leave some for someone else!
