My fingers do not work on a phone, either cyanotic and phone won't read/recognize my fingers or inflamed and cannot press only one letter at a time Typing phone numbers is almost impossible. Use my keyboard on computer for everything possible, pita to use the edge of my pinkie finger and hope I got the right letter or number. No thank you on phone.
Called my mother last evening with urgent new on flight changes due to airline delays. No answer. Called her husband instead. Yep. Told him the deal, understood the gist of it, and said he'd have my Mom check her phone in the morning for the flight change details. Works the same way with WWW and me and kiddo. Typing on phone is pita for me but forwarding info is easy. Otherwise I'm phone call or computer keyboard as much as possible. Holy cow husband and kid type quickly with their thumbs.
I would also; as I can find no easy way to add pics without a $ app and would rather give that $ to FHC
this is how I can do it on iPhone but it a dozen steps per photo so others know trying to find solutions instead of criticizing I am running most current iOS and have efficient selected coming in around 3.3 mb guessing forum is liking 2mb for those cropping
You guys with Android OS that don't have native resize options - can you go into the camera setti ngs and set the camera from, say, 50MB file size to 12 or 14 ? That should mimic older phone file sizes. There's also a new-ish file type HEIx that is supposed to be a smaller file size. But this forum software is kinda old and may not recognize it. My phone is old so I can't try it. (iphone 6s)
Not completely on topic, but I heard a few minutes of a tech talk radio show today...guy called in saying he had been having issues with his computer being very slow at times, couldn't figure it out, until he heard about "seeding"... apparently Microsoft is using a little of each of our computers (phones?) as "their own"...he said he was able to go into advanced settings and take it from "50%" down to 5 (minium allowable setting!) and things operated much faster consistently after that. If you search how to disable seeding, it's easily found...
I'm thinking there is way too much of that sort of thing happening to begin with. Lots of sites now have a terms of use agreement they want you to agree with before accessing info on their pages. Add to that the license plate readers and all the info that can be obtained along with cameras everywhere, we no longer have the luxury of anonymity.
