Gonna be a busy day here. Rains predicted for the afternoon.

 

I appreciate the kind words Dennis. Absolutely great people here on this forum. And so glad that you gotnto make the trip and share time with us. Can't wait for the next GTG.

 

Morning all. Up at 5:30 AM and the sun was well above the horizon. Going to be another warm sunny day.
We haven't had rain for quite awhile. Really unusual for this time of year. Fire Risk warnings are in High.
Sunday afternoon there was a fire about 6 kms away from us which was managed quite quickly.
No rain in the forecast until Thursday.
We got the lawn mowed at the church. Roo took the other two for an unauthorized adventure walk before we got started. that was exciting. Roo's recall mode is faulty as well as Lily's. finally got them back and corralled in the car while we worked.

We will see what adventures awaits us today.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. 83⁰/88⁰, sunny and nice breeze. Had to bring 3 grandkids to dentist appointment, then we will go look at a possible tree job, pick up the camper and head home. Dinner at friends place tonight, missionaries from Mexico are visiting.

Just returned from the rental place with a power trowel & plate compactor.......planning to pour the slab at 1:30 pm.
We got it mostly prepared yesterday afternoon........ what a royal mess with Sunday night's deluge! had to use a sump pump do de-water the area.

I plan to move some firewood around today. Stacking what's cut/split. Maybe, splitting some more.

Good morning. Time for more carpentry. Then a side job after work removing a tile backsplash. Beautiful morning to ride the Harley into work today

 

It’s not BUT I got a beautiful bride, nice home and a decent dog. So I am thankful

I am watching the next generation; stumble, trip get traction on their beginning journey of life. it is a beautiful tragedy to watch,

I only offer advice when they ask… A brother was preaching to his 24 year old.. who likes that?
I told nephew 1 thing his dad did at 25 so not to throw stones.

the lawyers; they are going to get together and argue over responsibility, spheres of competence and diligence until the $$ is gone and then settle, because their hourly rate can’t be met. Not fun but that’s the game

Had a bit of rain overnight but the storms that were predicted didn't happen.

Gotta return the rental equipment this morning, have a few other things I have to do while I'm in the town.
Meanwhile the boys are planning to pour a bit of concrete on the other job.

Morning all. Looks like another incredible sunny day today.
We went down island for appointments. it was really warm. The dogs didn't want to get out of the air conditioned car. We leave the car running and locked when we have to go into a store. The dogs love it.
Visiting Mom today and then prayer meeting tonight. Another busy day.
