What do I do?!

    The village just dumped a PILE of wood right next door at their brush dump. It is on the other side of our fence line, and I can drive out the driveway and right back in the next one and the round trip is about 3/4 mile. I already have a lot of wood, but it’s just layin there! Please advise on proper course of action.

    most of it looks like maple

    Hmmm.... I'm wondering if the asking of this question is for:
    A) You need "help" "defending your want and need of getting this wood, such as to your wife or someone who thinks you have enough or "too much"...

    Or

    B) You're just rubbing it in...
