I will use my phone for making or receiving calls and voice mails. I will also text with it and occasionally take pics. That's it....nothing else. Imagine that!
I don't get it. Uploaded a picture that is supposedly 3.9MB but can't get one that's 2.3MB to upload.
I had a couple pictures that failed to load because too big. This is the first for me. Also, these were pictures I had loaded on the forum before with no problem.
I’m not an IT guy…but did a little web development back in the day. Thinking someone changed the file size limits to help with the slowness issue. I have noticed other forums will automatically resize imagines so they can be posted. But I’m sure that type of software costs a bit more to operate.
Thats why I have a $15 a month flip phone! Does just what I have it for. If it breaks I pay $25 for a new one at Walmart.
Havent checked this thread I a few days but I see I'm not the only one with technical issues loading pictures. Part of my enjoyment is sharing pics of my adventures with the fine folks on FHC! Been taking pics but don't have the patience to figure it out. Technology and me go together like oil and water! Most of my computer "skills" are self taught.
Try messaging Administrative to let them know directly about the image uploading problem, and see if they know a workaround.
I have a new phone and now my pics are too large here too. Android. And the three dots don't give me an option to resize,.and the edit function in photos not either. Seems I have to download a separate app for this, which is unlikely to happen.
That's surprising...mine is 3-4 years old, and the most basic model (read:free) and it has numerous edit options, plus the whole screenshot thing too...
Yeah, I haven’t found an easy solution… I’m guessing it’s a new limitation in general of whatever package has been purchased?
We'll need an tech admin.... and a donation place to pay for the host upgrade which the owner already pays the current plan out of his own pocket much less the upgrade. Already have a tech admin volunteer, who is willing to take donations?
