Peonies are doing great in the roadside garden. The first 2 pictures are of the front of the flower bed where the lighter pink peonies are. Then the next 2 are of a darker pink cultivar.

The big rhodies out front are doing well too

My hydrangea isn't nearly that far along. but again, it doesn't bloom every year since I don't water it. Still in drought since last year, so doubt it will do anything this year, but that remains to be seen.

Noticed yesterday my winterberry shrubs are blooming. I also noticed they are trying to take over that corner of their wor;d and I'll need to cut them back.

Also being on well water, I don't water much in the yard. Especially with an ongoing drought. We're 9inches below average for '26. We were below a few inches for '25.

Yeah, my area is still in drought too, but at least I'm on town water. Last I knew my area was at 12-16" deficit since last year. I water the 4 shrubs I planted last fall so I don't lose them and everything else fends for itself. I don't have any potted flowers this year either.

Totally ignorant when it comes to flowers, so I have no idea what these are, and I don't recall them ever growing on my property before. Now there are several (all purple except for one white plant). Even I can appreciate nature's beauty in these.
