The heat and stuffy weather was terrible yesterday. Actually the heat wouldn't have been too bad but the dewpoint really made it bad. The weird thing was a storm came toward us late. As it came there was lots of thunder but that died just before the storm clouds got to us. Radar showed we were in for a big one but we got very little and as stated, no lightning here. Not much rain either. Radar lies sometimes.

Morning all. Could be sunny for most of the day here.

Dental trip yesterday so now I have squeaky clean teeth. Dogs visited the dog park so it was a good trip.
Not sure what's on the agenda today. I think we have stuff to go to the dump and I hope to do some yard work. Plans change though.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. It's a warm 78⁰ right now, clear. Last 6PM-6AM night to work this week, off for the weekend. Planning to go back to site and cut some more white oak and hickory logs.
I'll definitely have shorts on, it's HOT with saw chaps.

Good morning everyone! Hot! The site seems to be doing great again today. I picked up 5 garbage cans of lumber cutoffs yesterday. I already have more than I started last year with. Pool time is the plan today.

    Good morning, members.

It didn't really cool off much overnight. 74⁰/92⁰ muggy dewpts Mid-60's .

Not much on the to-do list after a morning walk.

I do need to perform a final clean out of the woodstove. Chimney sweep scheduled for Monday morning.

We had 2 days of terrible heat. Actually the temperature did not get as high as predicted but it still felt like you were in an oven. Much cooler this morning and we get through this without any bad storms, but some folks were not as lucky. Now we are forecast to have cooler temps for a while Iin the 70's). Maybe some outdoor work will get done.

Morning all even though it is late. Looks like a sunny day today with warmish temps.

After a trip to the dump with recyclables, I am going to work on the yard. Yesterday, we did the lawn at the church. As much as I like all the English daisies and small buttercup flowers in the lawn, it always look better after a mowing. the flowers will be back quickly but the grass takes longer to look messy.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a SUPER SATURDAY. Goat Town Weather Channel says it's 73⁰, heading to upper 90's again today. Off today, got to go trim some grass in the ditches for a friend, then this evening we're going to a tractor pull. Maybe the rain will hold off.

Good morning. I drove up to the old homestead yesterday. Nice and breezy here close to the Canadian border. High of 50 , low in upper 30s overnight. Good weather for mowing and gardening. I also have 1.5 cord of birch to stack .

Morning all. Overcast but I think it will clear off. Yesterday was beautiful. After we took the stuff to the dump, I came back and weedwacked and mowed the upper part of the yard. I had left it too long and it took longer than I thought. Hopefully Sunday I can get the rest of the yard done.

If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” Luke 11:13

It is so true. We want to give the best to our children. Our time, our goods, our love, enable them to get an education and when we have grandchildren, we do the same thing.
How often do we ask for the most important gift of all? The gift of salvation, forgiveness and the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives? We tend to go about our days, doing for ourselves, enjoying the benefits of air, food, shelter and not thanking the one that provides it. The Holy Spirit enables us to share the Good News of the gospel and empowers us to live the Christian life God had planned for us. So take time today to ask for forgiveness and accept the gift of salvation and ask for the Holy Spirit to work and lead in your life today and in the future.

    Happy Sabbath, everyone
