    Yesterday afternoon I was walking toward the mailbox and there stood a doe and fawn not 15 yards from me. I just kept walking and talked to them. They just stood there and stared at me. Later in the woods I came upon a newborn fawn. This one was only a couple steps from me. I love it!

    Sawdust Man what are the brass plates with the two holes for? My first thought was outlet plates but the holes are the wrong size.

    I am working at the school today and tomorrow. It should be fun. Everyone is gearing up for the grad ceremony in two weeks. and end of school in a month.

    Woodwidow They look like outlet covers for push button switches for lights. I do remember seeing them when I was a kid, decades ago.

    OK day. 53⁰/67⁰ more clouds than sun. Showers tonight

    We'll be getting mom a new bed. She's had a king(2 twins pushed together) that was in place when dad was still with us. She's ready to down size to a full sized bed. All new bedding. It'll free up floor space.

    My brother and SIL will be on hand for the new bed before heading back to home in ME.

    I'll run an errand or two, while I'm out.

    A chilly good morning to all. I'm off to see the hip doctor. He is the same one who have done all 3 of my hip replacements. I am hoping for a shot or 2 rather than another surgery.

    68/78 with rain and stuff.....we got 4 inches of rain yesterday.

    Planning to work in the shop today mostly, but we do need to cut a couple cedar posts for a customer this morning.

    Rainy day today. backwards temps. Getting cooler as the day progresses. 52⁰/45⁰ gusty winds. There could be some snowflakes flying around.

    I have a fire built in the woodstove. Probably light it off in a few hours.

    Mom's new bed delivery went well. We're hoping she was able to sleep OK last night.

    I'm hoping to get a morning walk in, before the rain starts.

    I picked up some steak tips to grill later today.
