Morning all. There was blue sky but now it is overcast. I am hoping it will burn off sometime today.
Life is back to chaos normal around here with the dogs getting into everything again.

1We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. 2 Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up. 3 For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: “The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.”[Psalm 69:9] 4 For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope. Romans 15: 1-4

This goes totally against the world advice of get everything for yourself no matter what. Christ's life of service was totally sacrificing his own needs and desires and instead did his Father's will. We all know of people from the past who have followed the advice in Romans and have made a big impact on people's lives. Even in our communities today, there are people who emulate this, maybe in smaller ways but they are following Christ's example. Take time today to contemplate on these verses. Are you following Christ's example?

    Happy Sabbath, everyone.

    Good morning, members.

Cool rainy day ahead. 50⁰/55⁰ badly needed rain all day.

I just lit off the wood stove. Looks like a small fire for the rest of the day.

    Inside day today.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

It looks like after today, summer returns. Good, lest I have to bring more wood to the porch. I have just enough to light one fire. It's getting late to still need heat.

Good morning! The power going out woke me up at 5 which is late for me. Waking up was fine but no coffee wasn't. All is good now.

    Good FHC morning

The burn ban was lifted briefly yesterday evening and I took full advantage of it since it had been wet. It actually began raining right as I lit the fire. Anyway, two more piles gone. :handshake:

Caught a couple walleye during the process also.

Coffee social after Mass this morning.......well, more of a pot luck since there was a sign up last week.

Good morning, ya'll. Goat Town Weather Channel says it's about 71⁰ and cloudy, chance of thunderstorms later afternoon. Been getting rain/thunderstorms past couple days.
Off today, so church and possibly taking a table and 4 chair set to my SIL, wanted to take it yesterday when we went out to dinner with them, but weather didn't cooperate.

Morning all. Overcast this morning. I haven't check to see what it is supposed to do weather wise.

Going to watch the Blue Jays win? this morning and then vacuuming the church this afternoon or shredding archive files. We will see what happens.

My faceplant on the lawn last week resulting in the knee that wasn't as bad as the other is now the bad knee. Took me a couple of days to figure it out as both knees bother me most of the time. I am hoping it is just muscle strain.

    Everyone have a great day.

I noticed yesterday morning this limb looked a little lower than normal, but didn't see any cracks. We went out to dinner and our son called, said it was blocking the driveway... 20260523_205303.jpg
Thankful for the big light bar and Catawba grapple, managed to break off the smaller limbs and the pull it down 20260523_205202.jpg

    Good morning, members.

Foggy and soggy. 52⁰/70⁰ overcast day. Rainy morning.

I'm hoping for a break in the rain clouds for a morning walk. An umbrella will join me.

The town's Memorial Day parade is washed out.

We're planning to visit my SIL this afternoon.

    Be safe

    Good morning FHC

Great walk and morning prayers already done!

I could feel warm spots of air while on the walk. Gonna be a hot one today.
