    Cool day. 50⁰/65⁰ dry air with dewpt at 31⁰

    Due to showers yesterday morning, I didn't mow the lawn. No showers forecasted for today. So, mowing the lawn this morning.

    My BIL is doing better. The three of us had .unch yesterday after a Dr's visit.

    If you're traveling for the long weekend, please watch out for the other car.

    Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. Goat Town Weather Channel says it's 68⁰,heading towards 89⁰, likely rain this evening. Off today, so I'm going to try to finish spraying bushes this morning. We'll see what actually gets done...lol...

    Shop work today.

    Wednesday I was sawing lumber and hickory-smashed my thumb.....made a real mess of it.

    No Dr's involved so far.
    Don't think is broken, but I ripped the nail out at the root..... it's pretty unsightly.
    I'm thinking it was made much worse by my instinctively jerking my hands back.

    Evening all. I have been busy and it has been hard to get on here consistently.

    Day 10 turned into 1/2 as after lunch Lily was freed from prison. They spent all afternoon playing and after a nap after dinner, wanted to keep playing at bedtime. Fortunately we didn't get rain so they spent most of the day chasing around on the lawn.

    Mom's birthday went over well. Instead of her traveling down island to meet family, I set up a laptop with the TV and with the help of the Owl, we had a family Zoom meeting. It worked well for everyone. I just didn't get any pics so you will have to take my word that it happened.

    Overcast but a dry day. 49⁰/66⁰ showers early Sunday.

    Sunday is a rainy day, so I'll spread some lawn fertilizer.

    Another this-n-that day.

    Truckaa is having a cookout today, mostly for his family. I'll probably crash it later this afternoon.

    Good FHC morning.

    Hauled another load of brush day before yesterday and dropped some damaged and nuisance trees yesterday-you know, the kind that got damaged by the thanksgiving storm last year and never recovered fully.

    Anyway, there are now 2 more burn piles waiting for the bans to be lifted. Probably a good chance that'll be today as everything is wet now. :handshake:

    I have found it doesn't matter what type of tree you are making lumber from, that all are very good at hurting your body at times. I hope you heal quickly.

    Rain in forecast and radar says we've been getting rain for a few hours. Howevem things are only a bit damp as all we've got so far is a few sprinkles. Yes, radar can lie.

    Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a SUPER SATURDAY. Goat Town Weather Channel says it's 72⁰ now, high of 81⁰. More thunderstorms this afternoon. Had a strong one last night, about 1.3 " of rain. Off today, do some odds and ends around the homestead, then going to take 2 grandsons out to dinner with friends, our daughter and SIL are celebrating their 11 anniversary today.
