    Woodwidow, yes it is hard to believe your mom is 101 and also that it has been 2 years since your trip.

    I got hot yesterday then a storm moved through late afternoon. I'll need to pick up lots of limb trash but otherwise we are okay. We did not get much rain and we need some. Maybe today.

    Like Chvymn99 we are set to cool off foe a few days starting tomorrow.

    Good late morning FHC.

    Finally got the brush piles burnt yesterday; what a mess!

    Also hauled some red oak into the basement for next season. That job is 1/2 done for now-maybe I'll get the rest hauled in this afternoon? The next "haul in" is scheduled for this fall.

    Today's high will be in the 40's only.....and wet.

    Morning all. Overcast and rain predicted. Not that we don't need it but it was nice having a long stretch of dry weather.

    Rain held off long enough for a buyer to go over the RV thoroughly and then phone us with an offer. Hopefully we can finish the sale today with everything open after the long weekend. I hate to see it go but with no future plans for it, it is for the best.

    Day nine of prison for Lily. She managed to escape the pen last night before bedtime. Not to self, use both closures on the pen and not just the top one.

    Around one o'clock this morning we experienced high winds and I heard a tree come down someplace in our woods. It is not visible from the house. More firewood.

    Good afternoon, ya'll. Hope ya'll are having a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. It was 63⁰ this morning when I left for work, 86⁰ and partly cloudy now. Did a little tractor work for our best friends yesterday evening, put the sprayer on when we got home, maybe we can get the wood storage area sprayed and some other brush done before dark. A couple more days of cooking dirt this week.
