Which grease do you use?

I use two different grease products. A calcium sulfonate/moly product for slow moving high load points like loader pins or front axle pivots and a synthetic non moly more flowable grease for sealed ball bearings and the like. The calcium sulfonate base product would not be a good choice in bearings and the synthetic product is quite expensive so I don’t ever cross over applications. Mixing those greases probably would end well either.

If I had to stock only one grease I would pick a non moly non synthetic lithium base grease.

 

If you would like continuous duty rolling element bearings to live their expected life, use Mobil Polyrex EM. It is the most factory used electric motor bearing grease used and tag specified than any other.

Anything else a good EP2 rated grease will fit the bill.
