That's all it took to fill my truck on this fbmp score. Other people already got the easier stuff.
Split it with my fiskars to get it loaded and can't say I enjoyed it.

 

Looks like some good wood. I would have noodled them, but that’s because my back won’t take it.

 

Speaking from my experience of living in Long Leaf Pine country I’d say it’s needles.

PNW, evergreen branches? I used to burn Douglas Fur when living there, seasoned, works & burns fine. I’m a big mixer even here in WI, various types of evergreen coming out of my ears.

I think firewood will be my main effort today. Yeah, I’ve done the big stuff others don’t want to mess with, have to split in quarters to get them in the truck.

 

Not a fan of the work involved with big rounds myself, but it is amazing how much wood they generate.

Is that Doug fir? What would you guess the diameter was? Going back for more?

 

Same here, but just eastern white pine . Can really load up the gutters. I have to rake off my garage roof every Fall because not enough of them get blown away in the wind. Garage roof is a shallower pitch than the house and they really load up on it.

 

Fir needles. I have to blow my roof off a few times a year for the same thing.

Diameter was juuuuust small enough for a 20" bar to reach the center. I never went back. I found other options with more manageable size trees.
