Good early afternoon, ya'll. Hope ya'll are having a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. Goat Town Weather Channel says it's 71⁰ and the rock is wet, so it's raining......we've had 1.58" since 12AM. That's great, sure needed it. Didn't realize I missed yesterday, must have been in a hurry to get started on the flower bed. We did get it finished, ready to plant bulbs...had to rebuild the wall on left side.

Actually slept in a bit this morning......guess the rain helped that. Helped Miz Carol clean out the refrigerators and dust off the ceiling fans. Going to get some gas and diesel in town, then picking up friends to go to Macon for dinner and Sam's Club run.

Hope ya'll have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. It was 57⁰ when I left for work this morning, sunny with a few clouds. Back to dirt for the weekend, on the 6AM-6PM shift. Not sure what we will do this evening, we are keeping our 6yr old grandson a few hrs, as his mom and older brother have an event at school this evening.

Morning all. Overcast with the prospect of drizzle today. It is definitely needed. We have a campfire ban happening on the coast. Rather early in the year.

Cooking soup this morning for potluck tomorrow. Cleaning house as well so it will be a busy day.

Rainy day ahead. 41⁰/58⁰ The rain is needed.

Indoor day. Prepping for Mother's Day. With my brother and wife staying with us, Mom will be having a grilled steak dinner, baked potato, broccoli and frozen off the cob local corn from last summer.

Strawberry shortcake for dessert. I'll be making the biscuits and slicing strawberries. A food processor speeds that up significantly. I harvested some rhubarb yesterday that'll be cooked up with some other strawberries as an option.

My BIL was transferred from the local hospital to one in Worcester. He's dealing with a number of things with a faulty heart valve that's causing issues with lungs and fluid retention. A catheter will be used to see what's going on. He's got hospital/rehab beds in his future.

Good morning. 51f heading to the 60s. It was a cold week, and it looks like another low in the 30s Monday, the we should be good to go for putting in our more tender plants.
