The way the grass is growing here, I've been told that next week I'll be mowing the lawn.

    The snowblower/lawnmower swap went well.

After running a file over the blade, I put gas in, gave it a couple of easy pulls. It fired right up with one good strong pull. ~happy dance~ So I ran it around part of the yard.

I let the snowblower run itself dry.

Morning all. Sun trying to peak through the fog this morning so it will burn through quite quickly. Wildfire warning are out for most of the island as we are getting dry out there. It is only the first of May. April should have been wet but wasn't.

It was a busy weekend so far. We held a Native Camp meeting at the church Friday evening and Sabbath. Our speaker came from Yuma, AZ. Three meetings with an inspiring music concert Sabbath evening before the last meeting. Lots of work behind the scenes. Very inspiring weekend.

Went out for breakfast this morning. Now to watch the Blue Jays win/lose and then start to process the cord of firewood sitting in the carport. Split, throw into the empty bin right there and stack. We might not split this as small as the last couple of batches we got. campinspecter is experimenting with the size of splits needed for the boiler.

If I have the energy later, I may? get out and whipper snip the yard so tomorrow night I can mow it. As I type this, I can hear lawnmowers/whipper snippers in our area working already.

    Everyone have a great day.

Woodwidow I haven’t heard whipper snip since England; the power of those tools it’s appropriate.
Here in the USA we use more powerful wacker.. :D

the other term used up here is string trimmer. Same thing. Weed Wacker sounds more dangerous.

    Good morning, members.

Nice day. Bright moon. 44⁰/70⁰ sunny

I'll be walking behind the lawnmower this morning. Finishing the larger section of lawn.

    A this-n-that day afterwards.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

I'm betting you will get more stacking done than I will. I hope to stack that kindling today that I split last week.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. TWC says 47⁰ here in town, feels colder, clear. Another 6PM-6AM night down, planning on taking down a cherry tree next to the new flower bed this morning, maybe do more work on flower bed. Nap later, got 1 more night to work.

When I got home, Goat Town Weather Channel reports 41⁰ outside, 68⁰ inside. I knew it felt colder the 47⁰...lol
