Nice Beech score.

My buddy has a tree service cut down a beech tree in his backyard. They took most of the trunk but I did get some trunk and limb wood.

 

Perfect size to work with

I just added beech this year to my smoker wood selection. Sassafras too.

I processed a beech a month ago or so. Some split great, some was very twisted! Smelled wonderful. Hope I can find more just for the scent!

 

Very nice. We have one that's blown down, still putting out green leaves since Sept '24.

 

Great score! I've processed beech once. Boy was it dense!

 

Been quite a while since I have cut or burned any beech but definitely one of my favorites.
