To get in the woods! Got our first real cold front coming through this evening and i'll be headin to the stand as soon as the mrs gets home and takes over baby duty. The temps have been up and down this sept and the deer have been hard to pattern. It rained all night last night and is startting to taper off now. I can feel the temps dropping already. Got a good feelin about tonight! :hair::dancer:

Yep it's bow season here. Couple doe's, yearlings and spikes tonight. It was a beautiful night to be in the stand.

Wow... nice open areas there! Great spot. So... do you also usually see/hear 10 squirrels to one deer too? ... ;)

I always thought i mastered the art of telling the difference between squirrels and deer. Then one comes along and fools me again. A squirrel that is :picard:

Funny too... when it's happened enough you just know it's a squirrel... and then find yourself half asleep with the bow down, no arrow ready... looking at a deer walk under your stand. Don't ask... :emb::D
