The arex delta large frame module was on sale for 30.00 So I ordered one and some 19rnd mags Now I have the X version with compact 4" slide and fullsize 19rnd grip I gave my sister the M version it's glock 19 sized It holds 20 9mm and weighs about half of what a 9rnds in a .45 1911 weighs
I’ll have to give them another look than. Haven’t seen one at the LGS. A buddy has a few Rossi’s, I’ve shot some of them, and liked them. On my list of wants is a mares leg in 44 mag, or 45LC, that’s not brass.
One of the very best 9mm pistols on the market Cz P-10 F Odg, 9mm, 19rd, Odg Polymer Jump on it if you need one
Bought some conduit for the legs of my target stand kit I just have to pick up a piece of 1" for the top bar 8" x 3/8" Raw Round Special AR500 Steel Shooting Target These targets on sale again.
https://palmettostatearmory.com/cri...ht-for-full-frame-pistols-green-01-01890.html I ordered a couple of these green dots to try Supposedly they are better for people with astgmatism
Really impressed with these green dots I can see them better than the red Nice packaging it's auto shut off but you have to turn it on The dot and this kronos knife were in the mothers day sale at palmetto state 59.00 each That knife originally cost more than that pistol 222.00 vs 300.00 nice knife but very dull I had to sharpen it.
At 149 days it arrived Much more comfortable and ergonomic then the oem apollo 11 3d printed grip module Really impressed with the live free armory build quality none of the internals are mim And a great trigger pull.
https://palmettostatearmory.com/cri...ight-for-full-frame-pistols-red-01-01780.html Really good dots imho These are not shake awake I don't like shake awake I've had 3 battery's in other dots die just by moving pistols around or having them in range bags I bought a couple of each green and red dots.
I think a friend ordered one of these. I asked if it was compatible with his Keltec P-17 and got deer in the headlights. lol I've been dragging him into the abyss of firearms enthusiasm. If anyone is in need of a decent scope at modest cost there are good ones here: https://muelleroptics.com/ COP35 for 35% off. I do own one of the APV models and am pleased with it. Took a couple of squirrels with it last time I had that Ruger 22 out. Lifetime warranty BUT...keep a receipt. I am currently considering one of their higher magnification units as the majority of the glass I own are of the hunting variety rather than target. Working on that lately.
457 got glass last night. Scope was on closeout at Midway. Nice 4-16x unit with fancy light up reticle. Warne +15 moa rail with new to me Signature rings purchased from a member of another Forum I belong to. They are the older USA made rings. They come from ccp now and don't seem to fit as nicely.
I bought one of these rechargeable laser bore sighters You have to adjust the laser yourself at 50ft running it in a drill it was about 3ft off center I adjusted it to about an inch That was a close as I could get it.
I tested 4 different brands of red and green dots today at 25yds CT rad, monstrum, swampfox and vortex They were all dead on after laser bore sighting The prodigy grip module really cured all the issues I had with the Apollo 11 3d printed frame I ordered a burris fastfire c for it.
Savage 22wmr has returned from it's field trip back to the factory. I started off modest at 25 yards. Had been optically bore sighted when I dropped the scope back on it. Same scope and rings. Rings still mounted in position they were when I had to give up and admit something was off with the rifle. I did 3 seperate mountings with different rings and scopes thinking I was screwing something up. It wasn't me. 3 test shots at 25 yards. Oh yeah...this is what should have been happening all along. This is cold off the bore sight. Time to stretch out! 182 yards to these silhouette plates. I was slapping the 4" center plate after 7 shots. Now very pleased with this rifle! 18x optic is quite helpful at this range also. I'm starting to expand into higher magnifications to make up for my ageing eyeballs. Nothing special...Athlon Neos. Having adjustable objective may be a requirement for me going forwards. Also had the Winchester Wildcat 22lr out just for a couple mags. Accuracy is ok, held back by a 'robust' trigger. Plenty fine for plinking but I wouldn't bet my suirrel supper on it because the trigger could use some help if precision is the goal. It is fun to shoot and that's all that matters on a $180 22. Got a couple target stands built for the Grassy Knoll shooting position at buddy's range. 100% repurposed besides the screws. This is the 75 yard spot. (yes I use a cordless saw as a cordless circular saw even though I have two cordless circular saws). The Grassy Knoll.
