Ok how big of a bonfire was it that requires a 2nd fire truck? I gots to know, it’s rumored I have sizable bonfires here.
Been on Tractor for 6 hours today.. But a west Michigan GTG is on my to do List was discussing with Backwoods Savage this week!!
My pics all get kicked back but I had another fantastic time. The setup at Ebersole is the best I’ve seen for a GTG. I wish I’d gotten more time there but this time of year is always tight for me. Thanks to the Adam Army for putting this on, and all of the attendees for being so awesome. Part of me is really glad Stayner got his revenge at the euchre table because that dude has the meanest of the mean mugs when you beat him.
Got a nice fire going at the cabin before dark. I’ll rest well before some soffit work in the morning
Not a house, controlled burn as firefighters were training cadets. It was great to see the kids learning from the pros. Short weekend for me, but I had an incredible time with my FHC friends!
Thank you hardly covers my gratitude to all the members, and family & friends that made this year's GTG a huge success! The work that Barcroftb and the crew got done at The Ebersole Center was amazing! FHC volunteers accomplished what the director stated amounted to a five figure bid from a tree service that they didn't have to pay out. We also made two years worth of camp firewood for them. On top of that a large bit of my own firewood has been split & stacked to dry. The group was diligent and dedicated enough that we were also able to help a neighbor/friend get down & clean up four trees in her yard. We have gained some new members and made many new friends here locally! FHC members did us proud! We were invited back anytime and have dates set for next year. I am both proud & humbled to be associated with such a fine group, it is an absolute privilege to host this event. I would strongly encourage anyone to try and attend FHC events anywhere they can, it's a truly unique and rewarding experience. Lastly, a huge thank you to Chvymn99, dirtdevil and the many other members that donated and prepared the finest meals for the event. Special thanks to Ben, Clay & the Ebersole Center for providing such an incredible venue for the event! Group photo taken by my daughter Ashley. From left to right by order of heads: Keith, Elizabeth, Jeff, Carol, Steve, Ed, Tim K, Julie, Dwight, Stayner, Brad, Monte, Tim S, Randy & Cindy, Dave, Walt, Robin, Brian, Lina, Kelly, Kevin K, Pam, Joe, John, Adam, Alex, Tom, Isabelle, Kevin T, Case, Sharon, Duane, Kendra & Rhett, Erich & Parker.
Another GTG completed! For my part I want to humbly apologize to the gang because I had to leave Friday afternoon. That sure was not planned. It was an interesting drive home and almost didn't make it but I did. I am sorry to let folks down.
We're just happy you're home and feeling better Dennis. Your company was m Thank you my friend. We just got the last load from the center and got it put away. See you in October!
