Stacking Easy lift wood pellets. 23lb bags.

    anyone know the layer amount for stacking the easy lift bags?
    pretty sure the're are 72 bags to a ton.

    2000/23 lb = 87 bags
    Should be 87 bags per ton.

    Or is it 2000/72 = 28 lb. bags?
    Just curious.

    I never thought of that. Do those use the standard sized pallets? The bags don't divide up nicely even if you round down to 86 bags (instead of 87) so you would have an odd couple at the top. Weird.

    I Posted above the info from my dealer who I bought 2 tons barefoot EZ lift from [which I posted wrong] This is correct:
    • Weight per bag: 23.8 lbs
    • Bags per skid: 84 bags
    • Total weight: 1.999.2 lbs.. [that's why the math doesn't jive when we try to even the weight to 2 ton exactly..]

    • 12 layers... 7 bags per layer...4 horizontal/3 vertical then switch.
    • . the ole apples to oranges thang.....lol

    Ah, 7 x 12. That's what I have my 40# bags on (oversized pallet from something else).
