Just saw this, this morning. Hope the surgery was a success. May JESUS give you HIS HEALING TOUCH and a quick recovery

My mother was released to home on Thursday thank goodness!! She called me and we were able to have a talk. Long ways to go on the new hip/femur etc. and lung issues but they're doing it. SO grateful for her husband, full time job with her insane amount of meds and tending to her.

I got home from the hospital late morning yesterday. Pain is still rather intense when I try to move. At least it tells me I am alive.:pain:

My wife is doing well. Hard to say exactly how she's progressing, aside from being able to get around this house better. She says her foot/ ankle doesn't hurt much. There's no signs of infection from what we can tell.

Most of her leg below the knee is in a cast, and just most of her toes are able to be seen from the cast.

    Trusting the process..

This too shall pass. Yes, there usually is pain but walking helps; starting with a few steps using walker or crutches. Go a little farther each day and your body will respond. Good luck.

Prayers for my SILBeen in hospital with lung issues. Not coming out. This morning my wife was informed a lung collapsed, so its sooner than later. Pray she passes to the next level with little suffering.

she lost her brother just a few months ago and is still dealing with that meager estate.

    stay away from tobacco, folks.

My wife got her cast taken off today. Stitches are now out as well. She's on the road to recovery. It looks much better than the last time I saw her right ankle a month ago.

A week or so ago my 23y/o nephew decided that he was done with this life checked out, via self inflicted gunshot. He left behind 2y/o & 6 month old daughters, a twin sister, a younger sister & brother as well as a lot of other family that loved him.

His visitation was this evening, 29 years ago today my best friend checked out the same way. It was been rather unsettling.

Not that there is ever a clean end on a turd like these situations.

May JESUS give peace and comfort to those that are hurting from loss.
