    Wow, for a change, we are warmer than you this morning. We even hit 79 degrees yesterday! That will be the story through Thursday before cooling more back to normal. Of course, rain predicted every day.

    It surely is good to be able to do some work again albeit light work and not too much at a time. Hopefully I will continue to improve.

    I removed 2 tires from golf cart and took them to my tire man. will pick them up when I go in a couple days to have him put summer tires back on the car. It's nice having a good tire man only 2 miles away.

    I also noticed that the willow trees are greening up nicely and some alders are getting leaf. I suspect the soft maples will have leaves yet this week. They are ready to open.

    We can verify this! Saw more than one that were "fuzzy" with leaves. Heck, we even saw some lawns that had been cut down there.

    Back from the "land of the trolls" last night. With the exception of some deer and an idiot driving a car with texas plates, there were no other "evasive action" moments.

    Dogs were very happy to see us, of course. The burnese decided he would go looking for us (?) on sat morning and ran off from the boarders. :doh: They did find him after awhile.

    Good morning everyone! The power went out for no apparent reason about 2 am. When it came back on about 20 minutes later there were various chirps and other noises from devices. Sleep was done for the night.

    Summer day today. 58⁰/80⁰ chance of thunder later today.

    I'm off for skin surgery this morning. Specifically, MOHS. Basal cell removal high on my forehead. I underwent the procedure a few years ago on my ear. Too much sun back some 60 years. Life happens.

    Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Goat Town Weather Channel says it's 49⁰ now, heading to the high 80's today, sunny and dry. Taking Godzilla in for service before our MI trip next week. Then going by grandsons school to take them to the book fair, part of their pay for feeding the cats while we're gone.
    Nap this afternoon, start 6PM-6AM shift tonight.

    Morning all. Grey, wet and dreary out there this morning. We have a front system coming down from Alaska over the next couple of days.

    I was sitting at the kitchen table in my nightgown and housecoat yesterday morning when the phone rang and I asked to come into work. Usually it is set days requested ahead of time. I did get dressed properly before going.

    Today I have a meeting this morning and then inside chores, maybe even some time in the sewing room. campinspecter's oldest sister turns 93 today. Unfortunately too far away to visit for the day.

    We got some heavy rain with lots of thunder and lightning. Our rain gauge had 1.37 inches in it. More may be coming later today.
