Certainly, there are no restrictions with anything like that.

I was hoping to make it down this year… it’s been a while. I have a procedure on Tuesday, don’t do well with the sleepy drugs…. And Mom’s 88th birthday get together is Saturday… we will see how it goes…

I have a cabin on the AuSable River 5mi east of Grayling. I just talked to my neighbor. The river is about 3 ft. higher than I've ever seen it. I'm 50 ft. from the river & about 7ft above it. The water is well up on the bank & about 3ft. over my dock. We had some seriously high water about 20 yrs. ago, &, at that time the water level was over 3ft. LOWER than it is now. The neighbor had 2-3ft. of water in his basement & had to get a sump pump! His home has been there for about 45 yrs. & has never had a water problem before, & more rain is expected through the weekend!!

From what I have heard, the situation is not good in most of Northern Michigan.

We are not in too bad shape, but glad I didn’t buy the house on the river…..
There are several areas that sure need some help right now though… flooding, missing roads, etc.

We are good here, although Jones Lake is now accessible directly from the road… lol

Our snow is almost all gone, just a bit of the massive piles that were constructed over the winter.

Several concerns and problems near the rivers and lakes… flooding, missing roads and bridges etc.
