This Whitfield Profile 20 was tarped and left outside for a few months.
The auger motor died with the set screw towards the bottom and the auger jammed up solid from pellets getting moisture and then hardening around it. So I had to chip them out with a hammer and screw driver. The auger also had a lot of rust on it from leaving the stove outside for a months in the New England weather!
The convection blower had to be removed to get at the set screw for the auger motor. Then the motor came off and the bolts to the auger end plate and auger came right out.
The auger cleaned up with a wire wheel on a drill by using it before and after sand blasting with white aluminum oxide?
    Has anyone else done this?

Put in a new Convection Blower and refurbished control panel and it fired up! Just testing out this new Wood Pellet Only burn pot.

Just got the stove running longer than the 10-15 min start time. Turned out to be a bad low limit ( POF ) snap disk next to the exhaust blower. So the stove shut down and the power on/off LED was blinking very fast to show there was an error with the safety switches.
Then after replacing the low limit and exhaust blower I plugged the stove back in and the power light was still blinking fast until I pressed the power button to turn the stove back on. Then the stove ran properly and the LED stayed on constantly.
Also the new snap disc is almost impossible to screw the bottom screw in tight because the access hole on the bottom of the stove is partially blocked by the back of the ash pan housing. It is not like that on the larger Profile 30 pellet stove.therefore I cleaned around the hole with a wire wheel and drilled 2 new holes on the sides with number 10 1/2” long stainless steel self tappers for easier replacement the next time.
If the screws are loose and the stove metal around the stove is too dirty the snap disc will not work. It works on good metal to metal contact.
The last pic shows that the wood pellet burn pot seems to burn pellets more completely only just a few last min fresh pellets fell in. :)

Does the aluminum trim and satin black finish look a little more modern?
