We spent much of the day outside doing yard work. He was rippin’ around and got dirty so it was also bath day. He’s all gussied up, lol.

There is a local business owner in town who helps rescue cats. She isn't a rescue, but has ties with various vets and rescues. Many times she traps local street cats - especially those that have had babies, gets them to the vet if needed, and holds them until a spot in a registered rescue opens up. I actually got Lila from her, and help with donating supplies or vet costs when I can.

This time of year is kitten season, and yesterday she put a request out on FB if someone could go meet another person about 30 miles away to bring in 3 kittens that are 3 weeks old. I happened to be free so offered to go get them. Nothing like doing something sketchy looking like meeting someone at the Park and Ride, just off the highway, that person handing me a small gym bag, me taking a quick peek inside to check the goods, then us making a quick get away going different directions on the highway again

Anyway, these are the 3 cuties (sorry, it was very cloudy and the filtered light into the pink gym bag gave weird lighting). Two out of the three are swimmers. The business owner got the kittens to a vet yesterday afternoon for a quick check and to get the swimmers banding for the leg therapy.
