Well all I have some good news and bad news.

Good news is that the club is getting some logging done up on the mountain and part of the deal is the logging outfit has to take down all the dead trees in the quadrant that they are logging and are to be stacked where we finished up bucking and splitting last year. So there may be a lot of wood depending on when they start logging. If not we should have quite a healthy pile for next year!

Now the bad news. A great guy that me and Scotty work with recently got some bad news. His 4 year old son was diagnosed with leukemia and is currently in children's hospital in Pittsburgh. His son is going to have a 2 1/2 year minimum battle with treatments.

He and his wife have 2 other children also young.
His wife had to quit her job and he went on disability and they are taking turns staying with there son in Pittsburgh while the other stays home and cares for the other children.

I already talked to and cleared it with Rick and he said that he has no problem if all of the raffle money goes to help this young family out.

So hopefully we'll be able to make this a good raffle and bring in a nice chunk of change for them.

If everyone is okay with this I'd like to invite the Grandfather to the GTG to accept the money if he's willing to.

Me and Scotty work with the Grandfather as well.

Hello friends. Might be a good idea to pin this thread at the top and let the 25 thread go down in history…?
Looking forward to seeing y’all pretty soon! Scotty Overkill
