These are two similarly named but entirely different companies. On a slightly funny side note (since I’ve owned both of these splitters mentioned) I made the same mistake when I accidentally emailed super split to ask a question about my current splitfire vertical splitter. The owner of the super split company cordially pointed out that he had no idea what the answer to my question was but wished me the best of luck. Both outstanding companies to deal with.

:emb: Thanks for pointing that out. :handshake: I spoke with the one in Massachusetts which is super split. I inquired about picking it up to save on delivery.

Part of me was thinking what an interesting change it was for super split to come out with a hydro type splitter

At least there can be no debate on which way you should split with this machine! :)

You had that at Denny's last gtg, right? brenndatomu, eatonpcat and I ran it if that's what I was thinking.

I like the idea of the vertical table style like this video shows, I just haven't run one yet.

Yep. If it's more than 20" it won't fit in my stove, not without criss crossing it at least. I'd say it's probably nearly 100% for most EPA stove) insert owners.

I'm in full agreement. Right now I only begrudgingly split vertical with my H/V when the rounds are too heavy to lift and I don't want to noodle.
