    Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. Goat Town Weather Channel says it's 56⁰ this morning, heading to mid 80's. Might be time to break out the shorts...:bug::jaw:on these white legs...:rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:...
    Taking equipment over to another friend's house, he has a pecan tree that needs to come down and he doesn't need to try it himself.
    Another friend of ours is coming over to help.

    Morning all. Grey and windy out there this morning. Probably rain later today. Yesterday turned out to be dry.

    Lily going to the vet to get her nails clipped this morning. A little dog but a real fighter when it comes to touching her feet. I hope she can get over it.
    We have to put firewood down in the basement today as well as other chores. Prayer meeting tonight.

    Had some running to do first thing this morning.

    Had 11 vials of blood drawn today. :jaw:

    Paid $4 a gallon for gas. :jaw:

    Spent almost $50 for less than a bag of groceries. :jaw:

    Heard the weather forecast beginning at 2 a.m. Thu (another storm....snow, ice, winds) :jaw:

    Bought some parts for electrical work project. 2 1/2 times more than what it used to cost. :jaw:

    Any other surprises coming today?????

    Rainy and raw. 37⁰/40⁰ rain should cease mid-morning. Overcast all day.

    I built a fire yesterday and just lit it off. It was 62⁰ when I fiist got up.

    No real plans but lots of inside this-n-that.

    Well, Monday we bought 21 gallons of off road diesel, cost us $110, then yesterday, with our 10 cents off Walmart discount, bought 40 gallons of gas...$140...

    Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. Goat Town Weather Channel says it's 57⁰ sunny, heading to low 80's. Had a good safe day yesterday with the pecan tree, did what we could.

    Maybe work on the woodyard later or cut some limbs. This evening, we are going to a Passover Seder presentation at church.

    Wow! Methinks it is time to look at how one might be able to cut down on driving and even look at how you are driving. It's time for those who seem to think you jam the accelerator way down when starting from a stop and doing the same thing when passing. Well, there are several things one can do to decrease the amount of gas used. I always watch the mileage and know what speed gives the best mileage. Give extra time to go somewhere. etc. If I remember correctly, my car is rated for 20 hwy and 26 city yet I consistently get over 30 mpg. There are times I can get over 35 mpg. I think my top was 41. Yes, it pays to pay attention.

    I sure hope the price comes back down.

    Went to the bank yesterday and made the last payment on the Kubota.....kinda a good feeling...... really wasn't a bad deal at 1% for 60 months, I s'pose.
