Does anyone know where I can find a working ms 270 oil pump? My saw works good except for the pump. It leaks when it runs. Comes out from behind the clutch drum but not much making it up to the bar.

Pump is probably good and just a hose. Look into it and see but don’t listen to me as I’m a parts changer not a mechanic.

Make sure the bar studs are fully seated in the case. Remove the bar and use the bar nuts to double nut the stud, then make sure the stud is fully threaded in to the case. I had this exact same problem with one of my older saws.

The flange on the stud was not allowing the bar to sit flush to the case where the oil hole in the bar lines up.
