eatonpcat thanks for chirping in; I have covered areas close to house equivalent to sheds w/o sides; My Bota just need SSQA added not a game stopper. I have 2 totes used for water, helped out neighbors in drought but using 3 year plan comes out to At least 50 units.. another $2,500
Chainsaws splitter totes … firewood is getting expensive :faint: Sorry but my finance degree cost benefit analysis, payback period etc etc
Can’t take it with me but …
Being on FHC instead of previous distractions is saving me that $$:emb::rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

Well, don't buy all the totes at once. Get 15, fill up and start drying, get them in rotation, later get 15 more, add to rotation. If you get 330gal tote, they will hold .33 cord level with top, but they are HEAVY when green. It's just so nice to be able to move wood without having to restack it so many times.

No really, only time it bothered my back last winter was having to stack 3 or 4 right out of the shed without much break. When stacking off the splitter, I split a row on the splitter table, then stack in tote, split another row...repeat...gives me a break on different motions.
I think you would like them for both personal and business use. I like being able to set a tote on the truck and trailer or up to 4 on the big trailer and make several stops, knowing each load is very close to the same.
Miz Carol loading a 275gal on the F150 20260102_094150.jpg And then 1 on our small trailer 20260120_114907.jpg
We pull the big trailer with the F250. Even put 330gal tote on front, had 3 stops on that trip, the lady that got the front 2 totes, wants all 330gal this year... 20260130_105058.jpg

Ok TJV following advice; I mentioned to you the SSQA upgrade on my Bota but I can postpone that buy totes and borrow the 75 hp Deere down street and forego the analysis paralysis take a step forward on the plan

I took a couple minutes to wrestle it out.

I'm pretty impressed with this machine. It is far more capable than the old one. The grapple bucket really makes a big difference too...you get a lot more mechanical advantage prying with the bucket because of the shorter distance to the pin.

I spent almost the whole day on the tractor and didn't take a single picture.

Back to being a logging tractor Messenger_creation_5713C33A-A7AF-419A-A371-E5210E03EF31.jpeg
My friend had dug around the stump and had it to wiggle. We finally got it loose, had to drag it with a big 8' log on the grapple Messenger_creation_A4FF4B59-511C-42AF-90DA-184405997378.jpeg
