Yep, crazy weather, for sure. We didn't see any snow on our trip yesterday, but a friend of ours in NE ALA sent this picture, he lives 3 miles over the state line. Areas around ATL got snow

 

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. TWC says 29⁰/57⁰ clear, probably a little cooler at home. First night almost done, everything ran smoothly. Planning to clean up some crepe myrtle trimmings that we did yesterday and maybe split some wood. Battery should be charged in the tractor this morning, yesterday it was very low...somebody......accidentally turned on the emergency flashers...I'm blaming the cats...... they like to curl up on the seat if it's left down...I saw it flashing about 0430 yesterday morning, decided it could wait.

Women's world curling again this morning. Canada lost a game last night but they are still near the top.

G morning Well it’s 3 am and can’t fall asleep; did some extra work and neck/shoulder throbbing, so I can focus on a bad nite or a good morning. so I made a quiet cup of coffee and sitting in my chair in living room loaded stove early, it’s only 22° here so it’s not wasteful. So waiting on dawn humming one of favorite hymns .. morning has broken like the first morning; blackbird has spoken like the first bird.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. TWC says it's 36⁰/70⁰ here in town. Probably 33/34⁰ at the house. One more night of 6PM-6AM to go. Not sure what the day will bring, was going to a classmates funeral this morning......he turned 64 in February and had a major heart attack last week, he passed Monday...
We were good friends, hadn't seen him in many years, our paths never crossed even though he lived in the next county.
But Miz Carol got sick after I came to work, I think dinner and her medicine didn't give, I ate the same thing and I'm fine, so far. Say a prayer for her. Might need to stay around the house for her.
Keep theburtman in your thoughts as well, his surgery is today.

I don’t worry about pain TJV I look at the positive in life,, For me, pain if it was a person that had same qualities, I looked for in my beloved bride. Think about it it’s loyal, usually there when I go to bed and when I wake up. When I have a big job to do it shows up at the latest 1/2 way and is there til job is done. Whenever I do something stupid it reminds me I should wisen up and do that differently next times. And when I get prideful it can put me on my knees pretty quick

all in all not a terrible thing. Rest I have to say I will keep it family friendly BUT it sure seems like a wasted opportunity to spend a night without sleep!!

 

Yes sir, I see your point...I try to see the positive also. Just a good thought towards a brother for a better day......like the old saying "if I woke up and something didn't hurt, I'd think I was unalive"...

 

Good morning everyone! Surgery is scheduled for 945 this morning. I guess it should be pretty straightforward but I'll be glad when it's over and I'm home. They changed the rules on liquid intake after midnight since my wife worked there. It used to be nothing after midnight but now it's up to 32 ounces of clear liquid until 2 hours prior to arrival. I'm enjoying my black coffee.
