Do gumballs count? They did come from a tree.

Twice this past week I went out and cleaned up some gumballs, got a few leftover leaves as well. Many many more to go, my beloved front yard gum tree likes to hold onto them a while. Typically when you clean the yard up, it will drop another load of them for you. Must have been a big sale on gum trees many years ago because they are all over the neighborhood. Good fun to clean up after, Might as well enjoy it. IMG_1242.jpeg

Mostly red maple, and the rest a mix of white birch, gray birch, ash, a little red oak and elm.

Last sale of the season? Is that some of the wood from the blunt impact trauma?

This was the last 1/3 cord stored in that side of the shed, yes. I think I’ll do one more load this season after this, to clear out the shed and finish cutting it shorter. There will still be room under there for my splitter and tractor afterwards, and probably about 1 cord of wood.
