Yes, I don’t which one was worse, the skunk in the stack, or the Bradford.

    32. That’s a big pine you felled. I need one that size for fire pit wood.

Wish you were closer, we could have loaded you up with a big 8' log at least. He didn't have room for the big butt cut. Messenger_creation_6096C974-3B0A-4C0E-AF54-532C5AB337E7.jpeg

T.Jeff Veal Are you having to deal with a lot of sap when dealing with those pine trees this time of year?

Yes sir...some are worse than others. The long leaf pines have way more sap than the loblolly does...

Got some replacement parts in for my little 550xp. Ended up braking off the chain brake handle while trying to use it last weekend. Not sure how I damaged it before that, but it happened. Upgraded a new bar since it was on sale, and added a sprocket as well, got it all put back together this morning since we got 4” of snow overnight, and it’s a mess outside.

    Tare down pic.

Nice looking saw! How do you like the 550? My son was using my 350 but it has another air leak. Looking for another 50cc class saw.

I can smell it from here. That would be fun saw time. The saw cleanup not so much.

Get you an Echo 501P...or 4910 if you can find one.

I’ve used this saw a lot over 7 yrs, it’s been my go to saw for bucking firewood, felling smaller trees, limbing, and trail maintenance. I bought it right before the MKII came out, got a deal on it at the local shop. Haven’t really had issues with it that weren’t caused by me. It’s light, I’ve run it for 10-12 hours a day at times, I’m a fan of it, but slightly biased as well. I’ve only ever owned and run Husqvarna saws, so I’m sure others who have run many brands can give a better opinion.

Love the saw and bar. Picked up the same bar for my 550xpg MK2 but haven't mounted it yet. Love my 550 and would probably pick up another if something ever happens to this one, I so hope not. I had a ms026 a few years ago but never got used to it so down the road it went.

Love my 550xpg mk2 so it has the heated handle and carb. Haven't used the heat much but it is nice when it's cold out. As a plus, your 350 bar and chains should work fine with it as well so you could get a powerhead only and save a few bucks. Sorry to hear about the 350 air leak.

Don't mind the muffler dent.
Think I done well for myself with this purchase. If it keeps going like it has it'll be forever before I get to unbox it's waiting replacement.

Would recco to anyone needing a dependable and capable mid size saw. 4910 is gone but the 501 is still available.

Yep great saws, and it's easy to basically make the 4910 a 501P. Swap handle and add captive bar nuts. Part of the handle is rubber instead of plastic.

I have found all of my echo products to be the most reliable I've owned. Zenoah built Redmax / Husqvarna products are also proving to be as reliable. Time will tell if that continues long term, as I haven't had them nearly as long as echo. I have zero doubts they will be just as reliable though.
