Metal Church was one of my favorite 'tattoos' to give to people in my HS textbooks.

I been digging some Gojira lately.

As a Rush fan, Anika Nilles ought to be an interesting choice to replace the irreplaceable Neil Peart this year. Here's a short clip of her at work. I like her a lot.

Looked into tickets when I heard of a tour. Jeebus! :emptywallet: Unfortunately we won’t be seeing them.

Yeah concert prices are nuts. Her and I saw a few artists on her bucket list last year. I footed the bill as she insisted. Couple bands I considered for me but said screw its not that important. Wouldn't mind seeing Anthrax again. Smaller venue band so tix should be cheaper. I don't mind paying more but if a band sounds terrible live I cant justify seeing them.

Judas priest played at a newer outdoor venue here last Fall and I considered it, but too old and tickets werent cheap enough for me.

Even a couple comedians we like, Ron White and Jeff Dunham were stupid expensive at the local (one hour away) casinos.

Hopefully they break up the livenation/ticketmaster deal. There are still "cheap" tickets, just few and far between. Just saw Candlebox Thursday night and those were less than $50 each.
    I'd love to see Anthrax!

They put on a great live show and sound authentic. I've seen them 4-5 times since 1990 when they opened for Judas Priest. See them in a smaller venue if possible.

Harrison, NJ September 5 & 6th. Closest to me as well. Tix over $100 though.

EDIT: closer inspection shows Iron Maiden and Megadeth on the bill. Sports Illustated stadium. I've never seen a stadium show before.

I'm still living in Kurt's world where $25 bought you a good show.

And nope.. LN settled the lawsuit. Shocker. Absolutely zero change in the bot buying issue so if you don’t get your tix within minutes of them being available, expect the same old same old. And only time will tell how far down those prices will go. I guess not far.
