    39°/72°

Coals from box elder from this am in the stove. It got to like 46° out today.

Yes. Rain coming here too through Saturday sometime. Over an inch they say. I brought in a cart full of box elder tonight.

I picked up another scoop of dog poop after work . It's nice when I have a little daylight after work. The yard is pretty darn clean. I have been picking up bags of it as soon as the yard was free of snow. Rain and dog poop are not a great combo.

I also hooked up the sump pump extension piping to divert it down the hill and further away from the house. I figured get it done before it rains.

40/63 this am. Dense fog here. Lit up this am instead of last night. One small firebox full should do the trick. One stick of blocust, rest CO.

30 with a steady drizzle when I went out with one dog about an hour ago.

Supposed to be sloppy wintry mix for the morning.

Well, it is only March-winter isn't going anywhere yet!

Wow. I was amazed at the forecast last night. First, we had been forecast to reach 60 degrees yesterday. I didn't even hit 50! Then they forecast a low of 55 with rising temps. How goofy can you get. A low of 50 but at the time the forecast came out we hadn't got that high!

Well, they were partially right because the temp did start rising...and it still is. At 6:00 this morning we hit 60. We started to get thunder late and it continued for a couple hours. Also got some heavy rain.

The worst thing happened down south yesterday afternoon when a tornado touched down. Left a terrible mess and 4 people lost their lives.

A few degrees below freezing here. Dusting of snow and some freezing rain overnight. Supposed to get to the upper 40s today, been mild and dry of late. Little above 40 in the shop, just lit some split ash.

Burning nothing today. 45° already outside. We let the fire go out this am. It's going to get to the upper 50's today. Tomorrow I took off of work and it's supposed to be in the mid 60's. Maybe even a record high temp tomorrow.

I'll probably empty ashes today as well. I'll probably have a fire by mid week.
