My tail gate (Latch switch) that are electric (in the tail gate) went bad and the part is on order. If I shut the tailgate, I can't get it open without taking the inner panel off and reaching in and popping the latch by hand. It's a huge pain in the A$$ so I do that. The part is supposed to be here Friday. No more "Mechanical" tailgates. :headbang: There is electric lock/latches on both sides! :picard:

Wow, I know the F250 has an electric lock, but still has handle to unmatched it.

The lift handle on the tail gate is nothing more than a "electric switch". the sides are lock/latch solenoids.

I learned this when the tailgate wouldn't open. :headbang: No mechanical arms inside to the handle. When I took the inside panel off, just wires. I think this goes back to 2017 or earlier when they did this, (and) are stiil in use. :picard:

T.Jeff Veal I forgot to ask, where did you get your top hydraulic link? I don't have the back hoses installed but I may down the road.

    :handshake:
Sure made hooking up the 3pt counterweight easier yesterday. Hooked the top link first, then was able to push or pull it to get bottom arms on the pins that are slightly bent backwards.

Sounds like you need a quick hitch.
