Nice splitter. Does that have the B&S engine? I am not sure what they are putting on this year's models.

Man, Ohio dave That’s a great purchase! Write a review of it after you get some hours on it.

I had a dad, that like some others believed in repairing everything, instead of buying new. I still got his horizontal only Lafond splitter out back. He bought paid shop to have it repowered for $850 in 2015. They can’t help themselves.

Great looking splitter Dave. I'm sure it will give you years of faithful splitting adventures.

That's basically how I am. And that's what I do for a living mostly on a industrial scale.

Nice splitter, congratulations. If you get tired of splitting vertical, sitting down, maybe Walt can mount it on a trailer...:whistle:...I think you've seen his...
Or build a ramp to roll rounds up on it.

Nice looking splitter, looks like it has a good size hydraulic oil tank.

Finally back in town and tried running it for the first time today. Cycled it a few times great now put log on it and ram goes to log and stops never hits second cycle. Now trying to decide if mess with it myself or take it back.

It stalls the engine? Try leaving the engine on half choke, see if it's a fueling issue, or the pump hi flo bypass is sticking...

No. The ram goes right up to the log then the ram stops but engine never changes sound at all.

Daggone, that's horribly disappointing! I assume tank fluid level is good?

I figured you would have, being new. That's too bad, I hate that for you. A pressure gauge would help you start troubleshooting, but since it's brand new it might make more sense to trade it for another.
