Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a SPECTACULAR SONDAY. Goat Town Weather Channel reports 41⁰ outside, 68 inside, went out and got a few small sticks, built a small far, 72⁰ now. Foggy, heading to 78⁰.
Heading to church this morning, probably eat lunch with my SIL, Becky, she's doing better since her toe surgery Thursday. Then our spring revival starts tonight. In the spare time, got to get camper packed for a short trip, leaving Monday. Going to meet an old FHC friend, Nitro Dave. They have been down in FLA and stopped in West GA to camp a few days. Met him in '19 at Backwoods Savage GTG.
I forgot to mention we were going to a fund raising dinner/gala last night for Wesley Glen Ministries...a wonderful organization...here's a link to what they do...

We had a great time with friends, had 9 at our table.
They have different items for a silent auction, also sold raffle tickets. Had a beautiful HD motorcycle that was being raffled off......or a car...your choice...
Last year they raised a bit over 500K...
Several foundations and trusts gave sizable amounts this year...biggest single donation was 150k from a family trust...
But it's time to brag on the real HERO of the night...the ONE ABOVE who pours out HIS BLESSINGS on us...
I wish I had started earlier when it first started...
We had a very big crowd, over 100 tables...
The Grapevine Band was playing some oldies rock...
They let one of the residents, "neighbors" on the campus, get on stage with them. He had a blast...
Of course The Blues Brothers made an appearance...
Don't know yet the total amount raised, we left a bit early...but as Jerry Clower used to say "Ain't GOD Good"...
Last amount we saw...
About double what they raised last year. Can I get an AMEN...

They shared that there are 1800 people in GA alone that qualify for their program with IDD...
The Macon campus is full, the good news, in a couple months they are opening another campus in Columbus, Ga.
Many successful stories were shared last night.
Hope we can go next year, we're thinking about donating a cord of farwood for the auction.

Morning all. Foggy and frosty this morning. Supposed to clear off to sunshine again. Beautiful day yesterday.

Church business meeting today and lots of Canadian men's curling this week in St. John's, Newfoundland. 4 1/2 hours difference in time zones so up early to catch the first game.

We got camper loaded and farwood on the truck yesterday, just a few things left to do, haul the trash off with Ol'Skool, Miz Carol will take grandsons to school this morning. We'll leave before lunch, going camping on the GA/ALA line.
We started our spring revival last night at church, great message. Hope to be back Wednesday in time to go to the last night.

I'm glad to see you beginning to get.the spring thaw. We had about 3"+ rain Thursday night, it was mud season Friday on the woodyard...
Need to scrape that dirt up and make a raised garden. That's years of saw chips and bark rotted...

Finishing up pruning my apple trees today, and cleaning up the brush by making a batch of kindling.
