    Overcast and rain today. The last couple of days were not too bad. We went over and visited Mom yesterday. Dogs had a blast with the toys from Mom's cat. One was a stuffed fish that is now gutted.

    Vet visit for Lady today and then chores. I have been shredding archive financials so now I have to clean up the mess in my office. It is getting a little out of hand. I don't have any place to put stuff except on top of stuff.

    Awesome pictures of the snow everyone got back east. Luckily our 2" of snow disappeared in a couple of days and now we are back to the normal winter pattern.

    More melting today. 23⁰/42⁰ sunny calm

    I got the deck woodrack about 75% full. I'll top it off this morning.

    Mrs MikeInMa is flying to visit her sister in NC tomorrow. So, we'll go out to grab a bite today.

    As the temps have been above freezing with full sun, I've been able to scrape the packed snow off the driveway. Avoiding overnight black ice.

    If I get bored, I still have camping gear to stow away.

    Went to the big city yesterday to one of the hospitals. Son went so he could drive home. So, was it worth the trip? I am very happy to say YES!!! Finally I got some relief. The first thing my son said as I came out to the waiting room was, Wow! You are really walking better! We made a couple more stops on way home and each time he said the same thing.

    Interesting the 2 stops were at Kabota dealer and at Tractor supply. I had to ask at the Kubota dealer what the price was for one of his lawn mowers. After he quoted $60,000 I stood back up and left. I told my son about when I married his mother. We had no mower so had to buy one. It hurt because it cost us $45.00.

    Lot of rain overnight, should clear off later today. On my long days off, going to see whatvI can do at the saw shed, may restack a couple totes of wood under tractor shed. Can't just sit in the house...drives me :loco: :crazy::startled::hair:
    I know my wiring is crossed up...:wacky:..
    Got some other wood to stack when we get an empty tall tote.

    Hey Dennis, what are you planning on mowing? For 60K I would stick with the old brush hog on the back of the tractor.

    Glad you finally got some relief for the back pain...Hope you continue in the positive direction and don't start thinking you should do more physical work because you feel better!!

    Morning all. Overcast and lightly rainy. Probably going to rain all day. Last night driving home from Bible study, we could barely see the moon through the cloud cover so I thought it might clear off.

    Still working on clearing my desk and doing bookkeeping. Vet visit for Lady went well. Both dogs are looking heathy. Got the usual warning about watching dogs weight as they are easily overfed.
    Finally got through to Telus (internet provider) that I need a new battery for the fibre optic control box. It has taken three weeks before I finally got someone on the first try who knew how to order it and send it to me.

    I am enjoying seeing all the snow pictures from back east. Our local ski hill finally got enough snow to open this weekend. Hopefully it stays open for the spring break. It hasn't been a very successful financial year so far for them.
