I happened to see these on FB group and was talking to my shift mechanic. He said he had gotten a couple 3D printers and if had the file he could print it. Well, the guy included the file on the FB post, so easy-peasy, I sent it to him. He printed them over the weekend and I picked them up Tuesday. I did some arranging and got them mounted that night... Close ups... The view in the shed now... He found another file that has a hook on the end for the bar. May get a couple of those soon. He can make them with 2-6 slots for chains. If anyone is interested, I'll see if he has figured out a price.
I stole your idea using a cedar log for a saw tree a while back, and now I think I'll have to steal this idea too That's a much better organized system than hanging chains on nails.
This is the link I sent him...https://makerworld.com/en/models/21..._aem_Q_FT_cY9sO0Pq8rWTLvGBw#profileId-2331670
Pretty nifty. I like it! Mine are scattered about downstairs in the storage room and in the toolbox. Need to have a sharpening-a-thon.
Let me know if that doesn't work out. My shift mechanic also looked up saw chain holder, found a file that has a bar holder on the end as well, that file was very cheap and you can make as many as you want.
Don't get me confused with our former "friend" a bit northwest of me... Our former pastor gave me a GOAT cap... I like the best interpretation of G.O.A.T. God Over All Things
