Good morning. Holding at 7 heading for 16 today. Heading up to check on the cabin at the old homestead this morning. We got 38.6” of new snow in 24 hours up there last week.

I will try to add a few snow stack pictures later today or tomorrow.

Didn't plow yesterday, so that's on the agenda for today.

 

I hadn't heard how much snow until now that the arrowhead got. I didn't follow up on it either.

It was that danged east wind that was responsible!

 

Morning all. Well our winter disappeared overnight. Wild winds and above temps this morning so the snow is disappearing fast. Up on top of the hill where we are, there was snow remaining yesterday afternoon but down town it had all gone.

The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. Romans 13:9-10

Many say the 10 commandments have been done away with but look at the foundations of our civil laws. They are based on the principles of doing no harm to a neighbour. Over the years, one might argue that the civil law has gone astray from those principles but God's character has not. His character reflected in the 10 commandments is unchanging, an example for all who follow our Lord and Saviour. When it is hard to love a neighbour, just remember that God loves them with the same all encompassing love He blesses us with. Please take time today to reflect on God's character as revealed to us in the 10 commandments.
