Hide and Seek

Just splitting some wood today and found this hiding in a split. Glad the saw did not find it.

 

I was looking for that

 

A lot of us have had our saws find things in wood. ☹️

 

Maybe back in the day. Now I just put another chain on it and hear cashregister bells in my ears

 

I think they call that a sign of spring.

 

Been there done that. Always interesting what hides in logs. Glad the splitter found it and not the saw.
