Was a beautiful day today. 45 now going to 35. Refilled for the overnight with oak and turned it down low and slow. PXL_20260214_025621932.MP~2.jpg

    7 right now.

    Surprise! Didn't see that coming.

Another warm day (upper 40's) with clouds and sunshine. Had some melting on the garage apron and parking area yesterday.

The snowbanks are settling/compacting noticeably as they are losing some height.

33/68. I’ll bring a new tote of firewood up to the porch today. My goal is to split and stack wood all weekend but we will see how that plan goes!

I'm not sure what's worse at this point, t mud season or wrong step and break leg on ice season. Thaw/freeze cycle has had me almost bite it a few times.

27* going to upper 40s. Looks like a full day of sunshine. Smsll splits of BL and mulberry.

NG furnace has been off for a couple of weeks now and looks like it will continue to be so.

    A mild feel to it.

Went outside with the dogs this morning-quiet, calm winds pre-dawn conditions. In summertime, with the longer hours of daylight, we will already have a walk done.........even with that screwed up time change!

40 here this morning, 45 for a high and snow is melting fast. 70 inside with maple burning. Dropped and cut up 3 trees yesterday, a cherry and two elms. Couldn't load though as it was drifted pretty good but it felt good to get some saw time.

42/72 just loaded some ash and maple for evening. Rainy week incoming. May travel a good clip this coming Saturday to cut a load along the road as it will be muddy closer home.
